JESSICA LANGELLA

Owner

As co-creator of Ritual Beauty Collective, I believe that when people are aligned with what inspires them, it sparks their innate desire to live their heart’s truth. When we live connected to what sets our souls on fire, our divine nature and intrinsic beauty radiates from the inside out.

My deep connection to nature and Fine Art background in sculpture, make my style of hairdressing intuitive, and free form. I love painting beautiful balayage, sculpting razor cuts, and creating hairstyles that emulate the perfect expression of “you”.

Let’s embrace natural hair texture and celebrate your unique beauty and style. It is my hope that you will walk away from our time together feeling beautiful and aligned with your inner sparkle.

During my 28 years of being a stylist, I have had the most humble pleasure of learning from and working along side some of the best hairdressers in NY, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Portland. I have studied advanced balayage, organic color, and razor cutting techniques with Edo Salon, Pony Studios, Bumble and Bumble, Hairstory Studios, Tony and Guy, Original and Mineral, and O-Way Organics.

Outside of Ritual, I love exploring nature with my daughter, making plant medicine, studying herbalism, tending my garden, and traveling to new places.

I am so excited to meet you!

LACY LEIGH

LACY LEIGH

 Owner

Lacy Leigh has been helping her clients fall in love with their hair for the past 20 years. Growing up in Arkansas with dreams of travel, she has done hair from the south, to the west coast and Hawaii, finally settling down in Portland to raise her daughter and open her dream salon. Gathering friends, good stories and lots of experience along the way, her warm energy will have you instantly at ease .

Her time in Los Angeles was a pivotal point in her career, getting to train and work with French stylist, Arnaud Ozuron, mastering the art of Balayage and dry cutting. Lacy has been known to help bring out your “hidden” texture, shape beautiful curls, and give you that “just what I wanted ! ” haircut that grows out so well . She loves all things 70’s, lived in effortless hair , and has a passion for creating beautiful color with hand painted balayage. She loves a thorough consultation to take it to a deeper level, dreaming up the perfect cut and color that will work with your life and style .

Continuing education is important to her. She has trained with Pony Salon, Privé, Tony & Guy, Kevin Murphy, Davines, Original and Mineral, O- Way, and others.

Lacy believes that “doing hair” is so much more than just a salon service … She has trained in Usui Reiki , along with other healing modalities, and is said to be an “intuitive stylist” knowing what each individual wants and needs to feel their best, and bring out that shine !

In her free time, Lacy enjoys spending time with her daughter, being outdoors, road trips, reading, ceramics, plant medicine and dancing to some good music.

There is enough fighting in the world, so let’s not fight our hair !!

AMELIA WEESIES

STYLIST

I come into myself most easily in a forest, caught in a dance, and playing with others. Questions seem to intrigue me far more than answers do, and I find this human exploration to be endlessly curious.

I’ve been playing with folk’s hair for over 13 years. What started out as following the script and learning the formulas for good haircutting, transformed into following my intuition with how hair wanted to be cut and colored. Sitting with a client and creating a relationship with their hair means listening to the shapes of their head and the patterns of their hair texture. This intuitive approach to hair styling became life giving and more authentic to my craft. By moving through client’s hair in creative and intuitive ways, I feel more connected to the story of how a person wants to connect and express their deepest self through their hair.

I started this creative hair play in Michigan and now have clients in Colorado where I travel to give home visits for hair care and in Oregon take clients at Ritual Beauty Collective. Being a hair stylist allows me to combine the things I love most: connection, creativity, and expression! Sitting with a client as they express their hopes and dreams for their life and hair is a sacred thing to witness—I feel honored to be a part of manifesting this with them.

 My Specialties include:

Balayage and Hair Painting, Intuitive Hair Styling, Natural and Lived in Hair, Long Hair, Fine Hair, Textured Bobs, Blondes.

Finding the beauty and texture in what hair naturally wants to do.  It’s important to me that my work as a hairstylist reflects my values for sustaining our Earth, for this reason, I’m delighted to be using botanically based products and color.

As well, I am pursuing the last part of my degree in Indigenous Nations and Native American Studies at PSU and will graduate in June 2022. I can often be found dancing, foraging in the forest, and pursuing the esoteric. I have a deep love for the body, somatics, and the felt sense of knowing. Connecting to people as a hairstylist is an extension of these somatic explorations.

I can’t wait to explore your hair and expression with you!

STYLIST

My passion and drive has lead me on an extensive journey to explore my craft technically and creatively.

I have been a hairdresser for nearly 20 years, a leading haircutting and styling educator for over 10 years, and worked backstage for numerous NY fashion weeks.  I have had the amazing pleasure to teach in over 800 salons for over 10,000 stylists nationwide as well as a platform artist for all the largest hair shows and events in the country.  I’ve held the role as Artistic Director for a Globally recognized Professional Beauty Haircare Brand, and have been the lead stylist for marketing shoots, brand content and editorial work.  My work has been internationally published and highlighted in top industry magazines such as American Salon, Modern Salon, and Bangstyle.

I believe that beauty is a divine expression and that hair is a vessel. Hair is a powerful part of us.

Hair is history and time.

Hair is culture.

Hair is an expression of the self.

Our hair holds our DNA and our story.

Hair is connected to life in fundamental profound and even magical ways.

With all of that in mind, I offer a combination of my haircutting skills and hold a ceremonial space for the facilitation of energy work to create a harmonious flow of mind, body and spirit for my guests behind the chair. I am a Reiki II White Light Practioner and an initiate of the Modern Mystery school which enables for a blend of healing modalities.

I’m obsessed with all kinds of growth and expansion. I encourage those around me to ask questions, open up and step outside of comfort zones to explore.  You can  always find me studying esoteric works, quantum physics, consciousness, spiritual science and all things cosmic.   Imma Jersey girl navigating the Pacific Northwest world and LOVING IT!

GRAYCE brunner

STYLIST

I am a detail oriented stylist with a passion for making shapes. My favorite part about being behind the chair is creating a safe space for my clients to transform. With a background in styling, I specialize in braids and hairstyles, curly shapes and cuts, maintaining and growing long hair, and vivid colors. When I’m not at work you can find me listening to audio books, playing dress up, traveling, and working on photo shoots. Book with me if you are looking for someone to bring out your personal style, and help with styling tips at home. I love teaching clients tricks to help them fully express themselves.
